Óbuda Group is one of the leading service providers in engineering consultancy and project management in Hungary. Our company has been involved in over 900 successful real estate developments and construction projects in Hungary and abroad. We have a team of over 230 professionals specialized for large-scale projects with complex technological requirements, such as office buildings, hotels, shopping centres, infrastructure developments, industrial facilities and energy investments. Our design department consists of 80 architects and engineers, and our project management team comprises 150 engineers. Újlaki Építő Kft. is one of the members of Óbuda Group, its field of expertise is general contracting of projects requiring complex engineering knowledge.

Social responsibility

Óbuda Group is committed to social responsibility and we strive to offer professional and financial support in as many areas as possible. In addition to supporting professional initiatives and organizations in the construction industry, our company group also acts as a sponsor in the field of the arts, sports and health care.

Óbuda Group has supported, among others, Óbudai Sport és Nonprofit Kft., Mészöly Football School, the volleyball team of Vasas Sport Club, the National Alliance of the associations of Patients with Renal Impairment, the Down Association, the Traffic Science Association, the Construction Science Association, the “New dimensions of Budapest” conference, the “Creative Hungary – Engineering Expertise and Knowledge” exhibition in Brussels, the Autistic Art Foundation and we all support Suhanj! (Run!) Foundation by the participation fee of the annually held BUD: Runway Charity Running.

Benevolence towards Children

Contracted by the Down Association, our company has contributed to the establishment of Csodavár Playhouse and Early Development Centre by providing pro bono design and project management services. The centre opened on the 21^st of March, the World Down Syndrome Day. On account of a project unique in the sector, the therapy centre has managed to implement the basic idea of the “Csodavár Model” in every aspect, meaning that the key is to provide integrated and playful development for children, which is to ensure an environment for those in need of early development, where the development centre doubles as a playground and where disabled children and those with typical development can attend joint activity sessions and thus develop together.

With the ongoing assistance of Óbuda-Újlak Zrt. in terms of project management and construction supervision, the Centre has been designed by Óbuda Építész Stúdió Kft. The general feel around the Csodavár project was exceptionally positive as, for such a noble purpose, benevolence proved to be the key motivating factor for the builder, the bidding companies, and our colleagues alike. We are glad to have been part of this team and able to help in realizing the project.
