A new plant called “ZF Eger 8HP Assembly Plant” was built for ZF Hungária Kft. as the builder between July 2017 and May 2018, which was qualified as a project of special significance for the national economy.

Óbuda-Újlak Zrt. performed the architecture and integrated design, construction supervision and cost management tasks during the implementation of this greenfield investment.

The project includes a production and logistics hall of 32,000 m² net, and staff changing rooms were built for 800 people. The project also includes a high-bay warehouse of  2 000 m² and a 3-storey office building of 6,000 m². The office building can accommodate 300 office workers in addition to a production kitchen cooking producing 800 meals and a dining room seating 290 persons. The building has a parking lot for 240 cars and a service road with a surface of 12,500 m².

The project was delivered in good quality, in turnkey state within a very short time (10 months).
