The design task involved the resumption of a hotel project that had been suspended in 2011 by meeting new builder expectations. Client’s requirements included positioning the hotel higher, creating family rooms, and restructuring the restaurant-kitchen area and the community spaces. Moreover, the hotel had to be functionally integrated with a 2,630 sqm hotel and its bath house on the adjacent plot, also owned by client, and thus creating a unified image. The 2,600 sqm, ground floor plus three stories, four-star hotel will accommodate 38 rooms over two levels, conference rooms on the top floor, with a restaurant, lobby and service areas on the ground floor. We had an extremely short deadline for the full implementation of the project (8 months), with both planning and construction being carried out by Óbuda Group. The related general contracting tasks of the project were carried out by Újlaki Építő Kft.
