Cistercian School Centre

The Cistercian order has retained our Company to design a new part to an old building. The project will be implemented in two phases.

In the course of Phase I., a School High Authority Building, Dormitory I and the Chapel Building Complex will be implemented.  The former sanatorium building in the area will be partially demolished. The remaining building, which will be renovated, will house the offices of the main school authority with the associated service rooms.

In the extension of the building, premium single-person dormitory rooms will be established and communal areas will be fit out. A community room with a high interior, a chapel seating about 100 persons will also be part of the building complex. This basically serves the devotional activities of monks and dormitory residents. The three blocks enclose a monk’s cloister for internal use. In the basement of the building, service rooms, machinery and vehicle storage will be set up.

The building part to be implemented as Phase II. will provide dormitory accommodation for 74 people in rooms for two. A restaurant, a kitchen and training rooms will be established on the ground floor of the building.  The basement of the second phase is connected to that of the first phase, and also includes car storage and service rooms.
