In January 2018 Óbuda Építész Stúdió Kft. started to design the shopping and service centre of 154,000 m² intended to be built at the corner of Szentendrei Road and Bogdáni Road. The area currently houses the buildings of the former stocking factory, a residential building, as well as an ÖMV and a MOL gas station. Our client is Hamburg-based E.C.E, which is the developer and operator of the Árkád shopping centers in Hungary and Fórum in Debrecen. The concept design was prepared by our office in collaboration with Madrid-based L35 design office in the spring of 2018, and the permit design was submitted in early 2019.

The building offers shopping and restaurant functions on 3 levels, in an area of 65,000 m². The building was designed with an additional 1-level underground garage and 4-level roof parking, providing places for nearly 1,800 vehicles. The building also contains a 1,200-seat cinema and a roof garden.
